Abridge was founded in 2018 with the mission of powering deeper understanding in healthcare. Our AI-powered platform was purpose-built for medical conversations, improving clinical documentation efficiencies while enabling clinicians to focus on what matters most—their patients.
Our enterprise-grade technology transforms patient-clinician conversations into structured clinical notes in real-time, with deep EMR integrations. Powered by Linked Evidence and our purpose-built, auditable AI, we are the only company that maps AI-generated summaries to ground truth, helping providers quickly trust and verify the output. As pioneers in generative AI for healthcare, we are setting the industry standards for the responsible deployment of AI across health systems.
We are a growing team of practicing MDs, AI scientists, PhDs, creatives, technologists, and engineers working together to empower people and make care make more sense. We have offices located in the Mission District in San Francisco, the SoHo neighborhood of New York, and East Liberty in Pittsburgh.
You will build the value attainment foundation at Abridge, scale it through Sales, Solutions Consulting, and Partner Success, and stay personally attached to our most strategic partners as their value lead. The unit of value is the care setting, every new product we bring to market launches with a value story and a way to measure it, and the measure of success is outcomes our partners can see and defend in their own organizations.
This is a builder's seat. You will inherit a strong set of models and tools and are expected to keep improving them with AI and automation so the motion scales through the teams that run it.
Build and own the value attainment foundation. Define the end-to-end motion: discover goals by care setting and different product experiences, design and quantify the plan, hand it to implementation, enable the partner to reach it, and measure progress over time. Build the modules, tools, and templates that let cross-functional teams run it consistently and at scale.
Lead value for our most strategic partners. Build the business case for new logos and expansions with Sales and Solutions Consulting, own the economics conversation with executive stakeholders, then own the plan that delivers it and the recurring review that shows partners where they stand against the outcomes we set together.
Author the economics. Build the value stories for each care setting we serve, spanning capacity and access, workforce and clinician well-being, documentation and revenue integrity, quality, and the savings from consolidating overlapping tools. Ground them in conservative assumptions a finance team will trust.
Set the measurement standard. Define baselines, cohorts, attribution methods, and timing before go-live. Distinguish financial outcomes from operational and quality indicators. Design pre/post and controlled comparisons when partners want them. Work with our analytics team so the goals in the plan become the metrics in the partner's dashboard, instrumented rather than improvised.
Give every new product and capability a value thesis. Before launch, define the value story, the assumptions behind it, and how attainment will be measured, so the field sells outcomes we can prove and partners know what to expect. Partner with Product and Commercial Strategy so this is a standard step in how we bring things to market.
Build the benchmark library. Turn results across partners into peer benchmarks by care setting so each partner can see how they compare and what top performers do differently.
Scale through the field. Write the curriculum for Solutions Consultants, solution leads, and Partner Success Directors. Enablement runs certification; you own what it teaches. Bring product managers through the value framework for their care setting.
Connect value to how we package and partner. Work with Pricing on the value inputs to packaging and with Partner Success so executive business reviews are built around outcomes.
Deep healthcare economics and revenue cycle knowledge across care settings and payment models, including inpatient and nursing workforce economics.
Measurement design skills: attribution, baselines, cohort and controlled comparisons, and the judgment to know when a number should not be claimed.
Executive presence with CFOs, CMIOs, revenue cycle, and nursing leaders, and the ability to adapt a business case in real time.
Comfort operating inside the deal cycle: building a defensible case with Sales and Solutions Consulting under time pressure, and knowing which numbers to leave out.
A builder's default. You use AI, spreadsheets, and light code to ship tools other people can run.
Facilitation across finance, clinical, informatics, and IT stakeholders who do not share a vocabulary.
Experience scaling a motion through certification and enablement across teams you do not manage.
Clear, concise communication in writing and in slides.
You have led a value realization, benefits realization, or customer value function at a health-tech company or consultancy.
You have worked inside a health system in finance, revenue cycle, nursing operations, or value measurement.
You have built customer-facing analytical tools or benchmarks from messy operational data.
