Sr. Associate, Customer Marketing Full Time NEW

This role is responsible for strategic customer communications, ensuring Toast shows up for customers in critical moments. You will roll up your sleeves to build, execute, and optimize multi-channel marketing programs across our core marketing tech stack, including Marketo, Pendo, and Braze. You’ll work closely with Product and Customer Success teams to deliver an aligned customer experience. We are a fast-paced team dedicated to helping restaurants and retailers thrive. A day in the life (Responsibilities):

• Customer Relationship Management Comms at Scale: Own the strategy and execution for sensitive communications that focus on maintaining customer trust.
• Program Execution & Deployment: Build, test, and launch email, in-app, and push communication campaigns using Marketo, Pendo, and Braze, ensuring flawless execution, segmentation, and QA.
• AI-Driven Scale & Automation: Leverage next-generation AI tools, including Gemini and Claude Cowork, to rapidly draft copy, experiment with messaging variations, and streamline technical workflows to scale output.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to translate their communication needs into impactful, customer-facing assets.
• Agile Problem Solving: Jump in to support ad-hoc communication needs, technical troubleshooting within our marketing tools, and unexpected projects as the needs of our fast-growing restaurant community evolve.

What you’ll need to thrive (Requirements):

• 3+ years of marketing experience with a foundation in program management and cross-functional collaboration (preferably in a customer communication or comparable b2b SaaS role)
• Track record of utilizing AI to enhance you or your team’s output
• Strategic growth mindset paired with execution focus - you consider the bigger picture but love rolling up your sleeves to get things done
• Marketing technology proficiency with tools like Marketo, Pendo, Braze, or similar tools
